The day almost got away from me! Thankfully, our old faithful lawnmower was nearby and had nothing else to do. I really do not gravitate toward machinery so this was a nice challenge.
I experimented with lost and found edges. I also enjoyed mixing different colors to explore optical blacks. It was a bit nippy outside which may have influenced the warm hues despite my dark surroundings. I love how some watercolors granulate and add a beautiful texture. You can see a bit of that in the dark areas.
